Summer SuperFood Smoothie Recipe
i’ve recently been getting really creative in the kitchen! I love art, in fact being an artist was one of my aspirations growing up. Due to my limiting beliefs at the time, art wasn’t a ‘real’ career choice so it was pushed to the side. Though recently through platforms such as instagram, and through my blogging, writing, yoga, dance and cooking, my creativeness is coming back alive. However, did you know that food is the only art form we put inside of our bodies?
Anyhow, I threw some ingredients together the other night in the kitchen like I was creating a masterpiece painting. It tasted amazing, however I felt my Kapha increase immediately due to the coldness and heaviness of the ingredients so I recommend having it as a summer treat or in the middle of the day when our digestion is at it’s strongest.
1 cup of coconut water
1/2 cup of mixed berries (strawberries, blackberries, blueberries)
1 spoon of Nature’s Way Greens + Reds Superfood Powder
1 spoon of Nature’s Way Probiotic 60 Billion (this contains all the good stuff including Mung Bean flour and Chickpea flour)
A drizzle of honey if you want it even sweeter.
